BETA INFORMATION (CHANGES SINCE PAST RELEASES)

Beta 2.0 - Map changed such a lot! There is now a second beach you also have to run across after
going under the blue base. The blue team can now play as hwguy and demoman as well as sniper.
The red team can play as medics now, as well as sniper, soldier and scout. Underwater passage
added - but exit door onto beach has to be opened by a fellow team-mate by pressing a switch on
the second beach. Map now based at night, looks much better. Red base improved. Lighting better,
but still not what I want. Landmines added, thanks to _mS. Loads of stuff improved, thanks to comments
from the Half-Life Department of Engineering (http://doe.lowlife.com/halflife). Instead of reading this, why
don't you play the map, so you can see just how much better it is compared with the old version!

PLAY INFORMATION:

BLUE TEAM INFO:
The blue team can play as snipers, hwguys and demomen. They have to stop the red team advancing
into the tower on the second beach that marks the end of the level. If the red team get to the tower
they win the round. Basically, don't let them get there! The sentry-guns will help, but don't rely on
them! Keep that sniper dot pinned on a sand-bag just in case someone happens to "pop" out ready to run!

RED TEAM INFO:
The red team can play as scout, sniper, medic or soldier. They have to advance to the blue team base and
go underneath, onto the second beach, and reach the sniper tower, all without being killed! On the way
there is a river useful for hiding from the blue team, an ammo cave just before the river, and scattered
about are loads of sandbags. Use them all wisely, they are a matter of life and death! You also have to
dodge the blue team's sentry-guns which are scattered near the river, and above the base, and the various
mines spread across the first beach. If you want a chance of getting to the sniper tower (end of level) Then
be patient and work as a team. Failure to do so will make it almost impossible for you to win.

THINGS I NEED TO DO/FIX:

* Sentry guns need to be improved (thanks to Snowdog's advice). Lighting needs major work. Maybe some
new textures, but not a lot needs to be changed for beta 3.0. If you think something needs doing / fixing,
e-mail me at [email protected]

PERSONAL NOTE:

This is my second map and it took me much less time than my first map to construct it from scratch. I'm rather
pleased with my efforts, and feel I am getting better after my experience with Bridge Of Death! Look out for my
upcoming level, Alcatraz, a Counter-Strike hostage rescue map set on the infamous San Francisco prison-island.
