INSTALLATION
---------------------------

1) Make sure you have Halflife version 1.1.0.0 or higher,
i.e. one of those versions that include "Team Fortress 1.5"
(instead of "Team Fortress Classic"). To update your version
of Half-Life go to http://planethalflife.com/files/
or use Sierra's AutoUpdate feature.

2) Unzip all files into your Halflife folder. Make sure to enable winzip's
'use folder names' option!

Remember, you must own a copy of the full retail version of
HALFLIFE(r) in order to play this extra TFC level. For additional

Known Bugs : There should not be any bugs, ugliness or
misaligned textures, I checked the map over thoroughly and
everything appears to work.
That said, something could go wrong, please email with detailed
information on any bugs you find, you will recieve credit as a
tester and successful bug hunter ;)

Performance : The polycount of this map is reasonably high ... higher than in
the average Valve map anyway. I doubt very much that it would run
particularly well on a machine with the minimum specs advised on
the Half-Life box, neither would Frogger though ... have a read ... they are optimistic in a funny way.
There is a reason for the slightly high polycounts, and whether
you take my word for it or not, my maps are optimised to run as fast
as possible on your machine as well as mine. I get 60 fps constantly
and i hope you do too.
A lot of people dont like a lot of detail in maps, but these maps are a
showcase for my talents, and I do intend to push the limits of the engine
just a little in the hope of making someone say "woah, lets employ this dude"
When I'm paid to do this stuff i'll stick to whatever polygon budget i'm
granted by the art director, but for now i'm taking a stance of "this game
was released 3 years ago ... hardware has changed".

Recons System Req.

Compiled from my experience with previous and existing hardware setups. I don't cover soundcards,
modems etc as I am focussing on the display requirements only.

Minimum Specs: will allow you to play Half-Life in fullscreen software mode @ 640 x 480 res. (wOOt!)

AMD 333mhz processor
4MB AGP 2D Graphics Card
64MB RAM

Recommended Specs: will allow you to play Half-Life in fullscreen OpenGL mode @ 800 x 600 res. (no pixels)

AMD 333mhz processor
4MB AGP Grapics Card
12MB Voodoo 2 3D Graphics Card
128MB RAM

Nice Specs: will allow you to play Half-Life in fullscreen OpenGL mode @ 1024 x 768 res. (and probably higher)

AMD 750mhz processor
32MB GeForce 2 MMX Graphics Card (with GPU)
256MB RAM

Distribution : You may only distribute this map in its original form,
ie the "branchus.zip" file. I don't care if ya back it up
on a CD-ROM but don't try anything dodgy like selling it.
Any haXXoring or attempt to steal the credit for my hard
(but enjoyable) work will result in Bad Karma for Joo.

Property : Valves stuff belongs to Valve.
The Tools I used were made by other people, not me. Thanx People.
